Liza Completion Design
The Liza completion design is based on an openhole gravel pack for the lower completion. It utilizes a formation isolation valve and tubing suspension valve to enable installation of the upper completion and Xmas Tree — based on a 2-barrier policy.

Consultant Proposed Well Design
On evaluating and reviewing the Liza Well Design, the following concept is proposed to simplify, reduce operational risk, lower cost, and increase well operability.
Key Design Change
The lower Tubing Suspension Valve (controlled by 2 control lines) is removed and replaced with a Disappearing Plug and Circulating Valve — reducing complexity and failure risk.
